How much should I pay for an old Mazda Miata?

Let's say a 1995 miata. with average 15 year mileage.



i find some for about $3000-$5500 on craigslist but that seems over priced to me. i would think 3000ish would be tops for one of those...How much should I pay for an old Mazda Miata?

The price stays up pretty will on a Miata for several reasons. One is that they are a popular track day car. Also Mazda to keep the price up does not make as many as it could sell. Of course do your regular checks before buying a vehicle like comparing against others of a similar spec, mileage and age and get a HPI check to make sure it isn't a dodgy write off or previously stolen.

2. make a car-fax. this can give you the car's history and also you'll never know your buying a lemon.



also if your interested in buying a car on craigslist be carefull, there are a lot of con-artist.
