91 Mazda Miata over heats in a short period of time and white smoke with water comes out of exhaust.?

I believe it's a blown head gasket and a broken thermostat, just wanted to get a second opinion and to make sure these are the symptons of such malfunction, Thanks.91 Mazda Miata over heats in a short period of time and white smoke with water comes out of exhaust.?
You've popped a head gasket, and possibly cracked or warped the head. You'll probably find oil in the radiator, and coolant in your oil. Good luck.
I had a similar issue with my miata. First thing I would check are your hoses. Your car is over 20 years old and the hoses are going to worn. I would check the heater hose specifically because this is usually the first hose to go on the miata.

If the car got to hot you are going to want to replace the thermostat. I would say replace it anyways because it only cost about $20. You are probably ok though. It takes quite a bit damage the engine through overheating though.

My mechanic fixed all of the above and did a coolant flush for just under $200.91 Mazda Miata over heats in a short period of time and white smoke with water comes out of exhaust.?
head gasket , cracked head , cracked block...possible faulty thermostat, or a host of other problem,s that could have caused the initial overheat that resulted in your cooling system/engine damage.
head gasket. i had that same problem. good luck91 Mazda Miata over heats in a short period of time and white smoke with water comes out of exhaust.?
