How hard is it to retrieve a letter (went thru hole at top)from behind the glove box of a mazda miata and how?

Is the letter still in the car, or fallen out the bottom of the space behind the glove box? Do I look for screws or does the glove box door come off another way.? The fastest way to find out, I believe, would be to call the dealer who sells the Mazda. They would know the quickest way to retrieve this envelope without tearing up the dash board to find it.
