How do I clean mildew off of the inside of the cloth top of my miata?

My Miata has been under a cover parked outside all winter and as I'm getting it ready for summer driving I've noticed a series of grey/white spots on the inside top that I'm guessing are mildew or mold (I don't really know the difference). What can I do to clean it?|||wipe it down with some bathroom cleaner, mold and milder clearners from your local store.
